The nursery offers bright airy rooms where children can explore and learn new things. Caring staff provide support for the children in a calming and nurturing environment.
The nursery is open 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, and we are open 51 weeks of the year (only closing for a week at Christmas).
We offer morning and afternoon sessions as well as full day sessions.
All the staff are qualified to at least a level 3 in childcare and all have First aid, Level 1 safeguarding and Level 2 Food hygiene.
.

The nursery offers flying start funding, education funding and the childcare offer.
Flying start
Parents with children who have turned two years old and who have an eligible postcode can apply for flying start funding. This enables your child to have up to 12.5 hours of childcare per week funded (normally 2.5 hours per day).
Education funding
Children are eligible for education funding from the term after they turn three years old. They can have up to 10 hours per week of funding.
Childcare offer
Parents can apply for a further 20 hours funding to cover childcare costs via the childcare offer for Wales.
The nursery uses an app called Famly to log what the children do during the day. Parents have their own log in credentials and have access to a variety of information about their child's day at nursery such as sleep, food, bottles, nappies and observations that the staff complete.
When children are registered at the setting parents will be sent an email to sign up to the Famly app.
The settings policies and procedure's are available on the app too.
Please note this is for Nursery places only
The Baby room is registered for 11 children aged 0 - 2 years, and there are 4 staff who work in the baby room.
The room is painted in calm colours and has natural furniture to create a calming stimulating area for the babies to explore. The toys and activities are all low level so that children can choose what they want to play with. They do lots of fun activities such as painting, singing and story time and sand and water and outside play.
They also enjoy trips in the local area such as around town and to the park.

The main room is registered for 20 children aged 2 - 4 years and there are 7 staff that work in this room.
The room is divided into different areas such as book corner, role play and messy area so that the children can explore at their own pace. Staff are on hand to support children should they need it.
Group activities and individual activities take place to enable staff to document each child's development daily.
The room is airy and has calming colours on the wall to bring a sense of calmness to the room.
